Entry Level Financial Analyst | Columbia, MD

· Location: Columbia, MD

· Hybrid Schedule

· 8am-5pm

· Monday-Friday

· 6-month contract to hire

Necessary Skills

· Experience with Microsoft Excel (Formulas, Pivot Tables, VLookup, and more).

· Preferably 1+ year in Financial Services (Including internship experience).

A day in the role…

· Providing remittance and correction information to servicer.

· Monitoring and analysis of pooled loans to determine non-compliance, communication of information to investors.

· Evaluate servicer performance to ensure compliance with stated agreements.

· Participates in system enhancements by attending user group and testing.

· Identify and communicate processing exceptions that are relevant to similar series across individual portfolios.

· Incumbents must maintain a working knowledge of their area of expertise, including Collateral, Securities, Default or Trust Administration.

· May train junior level staff and review junior staff processing and reconciliations.

· May propose recommendations and implement automated solutions on an ongoing basis.
