Ameresco Asset Management Auditor in Columbia, Maryland

Ameresco has a new opportunity for an Asset Management Auditor to join our Federal O&M Team in Columbia, MD.

Responsibilities:

  • Regularly audit asset data stored in our CMMS. Verify information related to equipment, maintenance records, and site-specific details.

  • Identify discrepancies, missing entries, or inaccuracies. Collaborate with relevant teams to rectify any issues.

  • Schedule preventive maintenance (PM) tasks based on asset requirements and manufacturer guidelines.

  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely execution of work orders.

  • Prioritize critical tasks to minimize downtime and optimize asset performance.

  • Conduct comprehensive site equipment inventories for both existing and new projects.

  • Document asset details, including make, model, serial numbers, and installation dates.

  • Update the management system with accurate inventory information.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Generate reports on asset status, maintenance activities, and inventory completeness.

  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors as needed.

  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to evaluate asset needs and future requirements.

  • Provide feedback on system enhancements, process improvements, and data quality.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with CMMS implementation and facility management.

  • Ability to review confidential US security information.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in managing subcontractors providing maintenance or repair services.

  • Excellent oral, written, computer communication and presentation skills.

  • Valid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing.

  • May require travel and flexibility for ‘on call’ support or varied schedule needs.
