The Opportunity:

As a DSLM Systems Engineer, you will be directly supporting modifications to the SCN. You will assist Lead Engineers with proposals for future modifications of the SCN, as well as assist on current modification projects. These projects range from software upgrades of critical systems to complete replacements of hardware, as well as designing and installing brand new capabilities. This opportunity will require excellent communication skills and coordination with multiple disciplines, to include Network Engineering, Test Engineering, Systems Administration, Project Management, and Cyber Security.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for working with a team of engineers executing complex engineering projects.

  • You will be responsible for overseeing the creation, development, and execution of system design, development and implementation.

  • You will be responsible for work that is high quality and on schedule.

  • Typically has strong knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the program/project.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering/related field and a minimum of 3 years related work experience with:

  • DoD Systems Engineering & Systems Design

  • Frequent communication with senior leadership in the form of presentations, white papers, staff meetings, and daily correspondence.

  • Management of hardware and software projects.

  • Ensuring engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformity with an organization’s established policies and objectives

  • Ability to coordinate and direct project plans to accomplish the desired objectives

  • Maintaining strong relationships with government customers, subcontractors, and vendors.

  • Experience with Configuration Management, Drafting, Test and Network engineering processes

  • Current US Secret Security Clearance

  • Radio Frequency antenna experience

  • Microsoft or Linux server experience

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$62,800-$128,600
