Sustainment Acquisitions Contracts Specialist The Opportunity: As a sustainment acquisitions contracts specialist, you know that both sides of the acquisition and contracts lifecycle are pivotal to your clients' missions. We're looking for someone like you to be a liaison to the government. Bring your passion to support pre- and post-award federal contracts and improve the processes that defend our nation.

As a Sustainment Acquisitions Contracts Specialist at Booz Allen, you'll work closely with our defense clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of all they need to ensure that their mission is our mission. This is an opportunity to impact our country's defense acquisition and contract process. On our team, you'll develop, implement, and control contractual, financial, and technical aspects of a project or program through designated phases of the acquisition cycle.

You'll develop the management and acquisition strategy for assigned projects or programs within cost, schedule, and performance baselines as directed by the Program Director. You'll organize, direct, and coordinate activities of functional specialists, including contracting, engineering, manufacturing, program control, configuration or data management, test, and logistics. From creating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to obtaining concurrence, you'll deliver meaningful acquisition support.

You Have:

7+ years of experience with program integration and logistics planning of space Major Defense Acquisition Programs, including space, ground, software, or hardware systems

5+ years of experience with DoD Acquisition Program Management, Acquisition Planning, Sustainment Infrastructure, and Organizational Planning

Experience with acquisition management support, including developing and coordinating briefings

Experience identifying and analyzing cross-program risks, impact assessments, and developing or executing risk management plans

Knowledge of the execution processes unique to the sustainment and logistics organization

Knowledge of Justification & Authorization (JA), Interim Contractor Support (ICS), and Organic support attributes

Ability to demonstrate a dynamic work ethic and be highly motivated to contribute to the DoD mission

Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science

Nice If You Have:

Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and test on space-based remote sensing systems, including SBIRS, Next Generation OPIR, FORGE, STSS, HBTSS, DMSP, WSF-M, and EWS

Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2

Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 or 5000.02

Knowledge of DoD 5000.87 and the Software Acquisition Pathway

Knowledge of Agile Methodologies

Ability to lead IPTs, WGs, PSRs, PMR, and other Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM)

TS/SCI clearance

Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science

PMP Certification

INCOSE CSEP or ASEP Certification
