CACI is seeking Software Engineer to join our DSLM team in Colorado Springs, CO. The Data Transport Product Support Sustainment Logistics Maintenance (DSLM) contract maintains the requirement of operational performance through a consolidated service of operations, site support, organizational and depot maintenance, sustainment, modifications, and factory/launch compatibility testing for the Satellite Control Network (SCN).

What You’ll Get to Do :

Perform software sustainment engineering and support modification projects on a variety of systems in support of the Satellite Control Network (SCN), including the Remote Tracking Station Block Change (RBC) mission. As part of the Agile process, actively participate in all Agile ceremonies, create software work products and related artifacts to implement the Backlog Items that describe functional and non-functional needs for a product and use Agile approach to continuously make software process improvements and efficiencies. Perform analysis on deficiencies and outages.

More About this Role :

Coordinate closely with team members, Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure User Story alignment and implementation to customer use cases

Analyze (through demonstrations, proof of concept, performance, and end-to-end testing) and effectively coordinate Infrastructure needs driven by developed software to meet customer mission needs

Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.

Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.

Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.

Improve operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.

Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas

Travel to test bed required. Travel to sites (both CONUS and OCONUS) are possible and coordinated when scheduling system release work.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications :

Education:

BS Degree required plus 7+ years of experience of related experience or equivalent combination of education / experience.

Experience:

Software development experience using C and/or C++, as well as at least one scripting language like Perl, Python, or TCL.

Working in Linux/Unix development environment.

Able to coach, review, and delegate work to other team members.

SCN mission system experience; RBC experience extremely desired

Agile Software Development experience

Experience on DoD programs and integration with government stakeholders

Required Skills:

Active Secret Security Clearance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Experience using the following COTS tools: VersionOne, GitHub, SharePoint, Fortify, Coverity

Writing custom simulations

Agile certifications (software development oriented)

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$89,500-$188,000
