Work Model This is a full-time position based in Colorado Springs, CO, which requires 100% onsite work.

What You'll Be Doing Advising Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC), Space Security and Defense Program (SSDP), and Multi-Domain Sensing Program (MDSP) customers on technical and analytical approaches, force design, systems engineering, and development of systems and capabilities for customers. Developing analytic plans and defining analytic tasks needed to understand missile warning/missile tracking and space control mission needs and refine force designs. Supporting government development and demonstration of capabilities that advance the state of the art in systems from concept through prototyping, acquisition, testing, and into operations. Working across space mission and program boundaries to identify common program challenges and risks, provide enterprise recommendations, and lead issues to closure. Identifying needed expertise and leading analytic teams from Aerospace Engineering and Technology Group (ETG) technical specialists to address customers' key technical hard questions and challenges through data driven analysis. Working closely and effectively with external partners in integrated product teams that include government, contractor, and FFRDC members as an architectural thinker and thought leader. What You Need to be Successful - Senior Engineering Specialist Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree in STEM, applicable in engineering, mathematics, or technical science. 12 or more years of experience in relevant technical experience in missile warning/missile tracking and/or space control systems development and acquisition, analysis, operations, and/or program management Current knowledge of Space Control system technologies, capabilities, acquisition, and an understanding of space and ground system development. Familiarity with space OPIR systems. Demonstrated ability to solve problems, deal with ambiguity, and work within a dynamic environment where priorities may change. Proven ability to lead technical analyses and lead teams. Strong oral and written communication skills. Active Secret security clearance; eligible for Top Secret SCI and SAP/SAR.
