Linquest Corporation Senior Operations Research Analyst in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Description

LinQuest is seeking an Operations Research Analyst to join our team and conduct studies and analysis in support of the United States Space Force at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs, CO. US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance are required.

Qualified candidates will serve on an analysis team of operations research analysts and operational military subject matter experts. Qualifications should include the ability to coordinate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and clarify management objectives. The analyst will work as part of a contractor team working alongside a broader team of government and contract staff.

In-depth experience with the space force missions and operations is highly desired. Experience with military operational assessments is also highly desired.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Bachelor of Science degree in operations research, mathematics, statistics, data science, or other technical field

  • 7+ years of experience

  • High motivation to provide decision-quality information and recommendations to senior leaders

  • Ability to communicate effectively across multi-functional teams

  • Strong quantitative and analytic abilities and critical thinking to integrate and analyze data

  • Familiarity working with complex and unstructured problems, and the ability to translate customer requirements and objectives into solvable mathematical or computer problems

  • Developing analysis or assessment plans

  • General understanding of the United States Space Force missions and operations

  • Willingness to learn about DoD space and joint force programs

  • Creativity and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment

  • Ability to work well as part of a team

  • The ability to work in a secure, confined location (i.e., SCIF)

  • US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of space operations, space capabilities, or experience in DoD space and joint force programs

  • Familiarity with at least one of the Space Deltas and their respective mission areas

  • Executive briefing skills

  • Experience with Python, R, JMP, or other analytic software

  • Experience with software development or the development of web-based applications

  • Experience building analytic dashboards with visualizations of the underlying data

  • Experience with analysis or assessments

Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from approximately $125,000 to $165,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
