As a Senior Associate, Systems Engineer, you will contribute to a diverse technical team on the MOSSAIC Command and Control (C2) team. This position supports the Space & Airborne Systems (SAS) division, a great team of talented professionals with world class technical expertise who take a collaborative approach to engineering and enjoy working together. In this position, you will bring your systems engineering background to a system engineering role where you can make a broad impact to programs and projects that are critical to our customers!

Essential Functions:

• Assist in the development of system models using MBSE tools and methodologies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system models accurately represent requirements, design, and architecture.

• Support the analysis of system behavior through model simulations.

• Contribute to the creation of system documentation and reports.

• Participate in technical reviews and provide feedback on system designs.

• Engage in continuous learning to stay current with industry trends and best practices in MBSE.

• Familiarity with MBSE concepts, tools, and languages such as SysML.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously in a team environment with government customers and other contractors

• Ability to negotiate solutions among functional groups (Systems Engineering, Mission Engineering, Software Engineering, etc.)

• Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills demonstrated by related work experience

• Strong coordination and organization skills with a focus on details

• Participate in agile execution, MBSE, and requirements analysis.

• Travel as needed.

  Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

• Active Secret security clearance.

  Preferred Additional Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or adjacent field

• Experience with MBSE software (e.g., No Magic, Cameo, Rhapsody)

• DoD engineering experience, System Development Life Cycle knowledge, Familiarity with DoD 5000

• Experience with DoD Systems Engineering artifacts (SEP, SEMP, TEMP, CMP, DMP)

• Experience with INCOSE requirements writing guide

• Rational DOORs experience

• MagicDraw experience

• Experience with Agile methods

• Experience with Jira software

• System Development Life Cycle knowledge

• Experience with and knowledge of Space Domain Awareness mission and systems

• Experience with Engineering Drawings and traceability MagicDraw

  In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $67,500.00 - $125,500.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
