Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity providing Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) supporting the US Space Force mission to defend National Security Interests in Space as a Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Desktop Systems Support Professional supporting the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Acquisition Delta (USSF SSC/SZG). Work is performed at Peterson Space Force Base and 2424 Garden of the Gods Road in Colorado Springs, CO SDA is foundational to Protecting and Defending US Space Systems that provide space-based Intelligence, Early Warning, Communications and Global Positioning services that sustain our way of life, support our national economy and act as force multipliers in times of conflict. The SDA Acquisition Delta (USSF SSC/SZG) executes system acquisition, modernization, and sustainment for ground- and space-based SDA sensors and command and control (C2) systems. Activities include acquisition program management, system, and subsystem engineering, maintenance and supply support, Odyssey Systems provides A&AS support to the Government in five areas: Product Support, Sustainment Engineering & Sustainment Management, Technical Order Management, Technical User Interface, and System Design, Engineering, and Integration. These tasks are executed laterally with USSF SSC/SZG depot and development contractors and with SDA stakeholders.

Responsibilities

An A&AS contractor is a knowledgeable and trusted advisor to the Government. As an SDA Desktop Systems Support Professional, you will perform user account, system, and network end user and technical support, account, and system management, and information assurance tasks. This includes providing day-to-day support for users, accounts, and equipment on Collateral networks. Duties include, but are not limited to: Configure, install, maintain, audit, and support desktop systems in a secure MS Windows network environment Assist staff to prepare and submit applications for SIPR, NIPR, and JWICS user accounts Serve as first point of contact for Space Domain Awareness Division end users and provide Information Technology support; quickly resolve or escalate end-user problems Troubleshoot /Analyze system anomalies; ensure systems consistently deliver optimal performance Configure and distribute end-user laptop and desktop computer systems Develop familiarity with Security Classification Guides (SCGs), support classification reviews; support security inspections, identify security discrepancies, report and assist in resolution of security incidents Attend and actively support requirements development and planning meetings with IT staff, Program Managers, and Division leadership as required Provide general support and assistance including preparing security paperwork, performing courier, access control and escort duties as required, and supporting unit and self-inspections Minimal travel (less than 5%) to CONUS and OCONUS locations upon government direction Other duties as required/requested by the Government and within scope of the S3 contract

Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Minimum Required Qualifications: Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems security, software engineering, or a related field and 2 or more years of experience in a similar role supporting Department of Defense or Intelligence Community organiz tions OR, Associate degree in a science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) field with 5 years of relevant experience in an Information Technology (IT) help desk end-user support position Technical Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and desktop applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) administration Working knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and data backup technologies Working knowledge of one or more help desk ticket...
