UIC Government Services and the Bowhead Family of Companies Operational Analyst in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Overview

Bowhead is seeking an Operational Analyst to support JFCC IMD at Schriever SFB in Colorado Springs, CO.

Responsibilities

  • Apply Test and Evaluation strategies, policies, practices, and procedures to ensure MDS performance capabilities and limitations are understood by the Warfighter

  • Attend meetings for MDA ground tests, system updates, and Operational Capability Baseline (OCB) events

  • Coordinate Warfighter planning meetings for risk reduction, defense designs, and test case planning ahead of ground test campaigns

  • Develop and deliver operationally representative Warfighter test case scenarios and Blue Force laydowns based on credible intelligence that will facilitate analysis of Warfighter objectives for MDS test events

  • Participate in the Assessment Integrated Product Team (AIPT) and System Engineering Test Requirements Working Group (SETRWG), as well as the development of the Integrated Master Assessment Plan (IMAP) and Integrated Master Test Plan (IMTP) to recommend Warfighter assessment objectives and ensure that the appropriate data collection venues are planned and made available for assessment

  • Coordinate with CCMDs for MDS and element certification requirements

  • Analyze post-test data for impacts on MDS operational readiness

  • Write executive summaries, reports and briefings to present information on system performance and test results to senior leadership

  • Attend and support conferences, meetings and briefings as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a High School education (or GED equivalent)

  • Experience in missile defense tactics techniques and procedures (TTPs) and a minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience and/or operational experience providing:

  • Support to directorates through compilation and analysis of military information to help inform decisions regarding military operations, plans, policy, training, and requirements

  • Evaluating the effectiveness of military processes and procedures and present findings to leadership

  • Formulating and applying analysis methods to interpret information that assists leadership with decision making, policy formulation, or other functions

  • Collecting and analyzing data and develop decision support products for program evaluation, review, or implementation

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Top Secret level with SCI eligibility. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
