As a Logistics Sustainment Engineer, you will work to address all aspects of sustainment to maintain the operational capability and effectiveness of the MW mission throughout its life cycle. You will collaborate to translate both system as well as system-of-system product support strategies into highly tailored and actionable lifecycle sustainment planning to ensure long-term sustainability and supportability. Using your acquisition and logistics engineering understanding of DoD Instructions 5000.2, 5000.88, and 5000.91, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team of program managers, guardian space operators, logisticians, systems engineers, and financial managers to ensure all life cycle and sustainment planning elements are properly enumerated and updated in over-arching comprehensive system sustainment plans.

You Have: 8+ years of experience with logistics and sustainment planning of DoD satellites, ground software, and hardware systems 8+years of experience in DoD lifecycle logistics, operations, and sustainment planning, and sustainment infrastructure Experience assessing program documents and risks to determine the impact to product support resources, plans, and schedules Experience developing, coordinating, and delivering briefings Knowledge of Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs) and processes, including logistics, obsolescence, tech data, and configuration management Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in a Logistics or Engineering field
Nice If You Have: Experience with test logistics support, including spares and safety Knowledge of Agile methodologies TS/SCI clearance Bachelor's degree in a Mathematics, Physics, or CS field preferred; Master's degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS field a plus Logistics or Supply Chain Management Certification such as Certified Professional Logistician or Certified Supply Chain Professional Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $19 ,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
