Aerotek Industrial Maintenance Technician in Colorado Springs, Colorado

HIRING INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS IN COLORADO SPRINGS, CO

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role involves working with a variety of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems within a manufacturing environment.

Pay: $27.00hr - $33.00hr (based on experience/opportunity for advancement)

Shift: 2nd shift, 3:00PM-11:00PM, Monday-Friday, occasional Saturday work

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Job Description:

  • 75% mechanical, 25% electrical (troubleshooting and basic wiring)

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment according to established schedules.

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, including variable speed motors, VFDs, and control systems.

  • Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and drawings to determine proper steps for maintenance and repairs.

  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.

  • Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve equipment issues.

  • Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) on equipment and process failures to suggest corrective actions.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
