Human Resources (HR) Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and data-driven HR analyst to support our human resources team with compiling, structuring, visualizing, and analyzing data foundational to drawing conclusions and making evidence-based decisions. In this role, you will collaborate with HR leadership and HR team members developing robust analytics and reporting capabilities. Responsibilities and duties include:

  • Gather data and statistics related to various HR metrics (e.g., turnover, hiring trends, workforce demographics, engagement surveys, exit interviews, succession data, etc.)

  • Collect, compile, and maintain HR data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS) employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitor practices, and other sources

  • Identify reporting requirements of the organization, analyze existing reports, design and test new reporting capabilities, and inform stakeholders on the status of queries, issues, and concerns by collecting relevant information

  • Analyze data and calculate statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations

  • Support recruiting processes with data and statistics for trends and patterns including supporting the data analysis and creation of affirmative action plans

  • Prepare reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to leadership

  • Assist with responding to data requests and performing audits

  • Work with technical teams to devise methods for harvesting and synthesizing data

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices

  • May assist with the administration and management of various HR systems and applications including supporting the development, coordination, administration, and management of those applications and systems

Who You Are...

The ideal candidate will come with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a related field; Human resources certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred). Experience working in the Birst BI tool and/or Infor CloudSuite is a plus. Additionally, the knowledge, skills, and experience desired include the following:

  • Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Power BI

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), friendly and supportive customer service skills, willingness to engage in difficult conversations while demonstrating professionalism, and the ability to remain flexible and balance multiple priorities

  • Ability to work collaboratively on a team—demonstrate trustworthiness, dependability, and accountability (self and team)

  • Experience in human resource analytics

  • Skills and experience with improving employees' experience and performance management through data analysis
