Nissha Medical Technologies Engineering Technician III in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Nissha Medical Technologies is looking for and Engineering Technician III to join our Colorado Springs Engineering Team! This position provides technical support for the Engineering Department in design, manufacturing development and transfer of products to Production. Duties and tasks reflect substantial variety and complexity. Assignments are broad in nature and usually require originality and ingenuity. The Engineering Technician III may serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.

The established Compensation for this position will be $25.00-$27.50 per hour based on qualifications and experience (paid on a weekly basis).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Follow Employee guidelines and Quality System Regulations as defined by Nissha medical Technologies practices, policies and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that customer requirements and industry standards and or regulations are met. Demonstrates knowledge and acts in accordance with NMT's Employee Guidelines and applicable quality standards as outlined in NMT's Quality Manual. Develops manufacturing processes and procedures including initial Manufacturing Assembly Instructions, Routers, Process Maps and BOMs. Performs or coordinates with Production for prototype and engineering builds. Trains assembly personnel and supervises engineering or qualification builds in Production. Troubleshoots process problems and performs failure investigations Performs product and component testing and generates reports. Coordinates, documents and executes process qualification activities. Creates and updates component, product, and process documentation, including change orders. Participates on various project teams and in team meetings as required. Designs, develops, and qualifies fixtures and tooling for production assembly and test processes. Abides by all safety and security rules set forth by the company and regulatory agencies. Regular attendance is required.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum: Associate Degree (AS) or equivalent plus 3 years of relevant experience.Or at least 5 years of relevant experience in a Technician position. CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred) Strong Technical Writing skills Working knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Prior experience in a medical device manufacturing environment. (preferred) Experience in a regulated environment such as ISO and FDA QSR.
