We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Expense Report Specialist in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role is responsible for reviewing, processing, and reconciling employee expense reports in compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The ideal Accounts Payable Expense Report Specialist will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience with expense management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and process employee expense reports for accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation.

• Ensure expenses align with company policies, IRS guidelines, and accounting standards.

• Work closely with employees and managers to resolve discrepancies and obtain necessary approvals.

• Monitor expense report workflow, ensuring timely processing and reimbursement.

• Maintain accurate records of expenses, approvals, and supporting documents.

• Assist with corporate credit card reconciliations and expense allocations.

• Generate and analyze reports to identify trends, policy violations, or areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with internal teams such as Accounting, Finance, and HR to enhance expense management processes.

  Requirements

• Experience: 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable, expense report processing, or a related field.

• Technical Skills: Must have experience with Workday.

• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with employees across various departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of corporate travel and expense policies.

• Familiarity with compliance regulations, including IRS guidelines for employee reimbursements.
