Honeywell Sr HR Generalist in Colonial Heights, Virginia

Sr HR Generalist

Location: Colonial Heights, VA - This is not a remote position. You are required to be on-site at the facility 5 days per week.

As a Sr HR Generalist- Integrated Supply Chain and Manufacturing at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive HR support to our unionized facility in Colonial Heights, VA and US Region. You will partner with leaders and employees to drive HR initiatives, ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and foster a positive employee experience. Your expertise in HR policies, employee relations, and talent management will contribute to the success of our organization. You will report directly to our Regional Senior HR Manager and work out of our Colonial Heights, VA location with other location responsibilities as assigned. In this role, you will have a direct impact on employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. You will be responsible for managing employee relations, implementing HR programs, and driving continuous improvement in HR processes while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide HR support and guidance to managers and employees on various HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and talent development.

• Partner with business leaders to understand talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.

• Conduct full-cycle recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new hires

• Ensure compliance with labor laws, collective bargaining agreements, and company policies.

• Manage employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and recommend appropriate actions.

• Partner with HR COEs to implement HR programs and initiatives, such as talent acquisition, compensation, and benefits.

• Support the implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.

• Collaborate with leaders to identify training and development needs and facilitate learning opportunities for employees.

• Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive work environment.

• Provide guidance and support during organizational changes, including restructures and workforce planning.

• Maintain HR data and generate reports to support HR metrics and analytics.

• Participate in the union grievance process while working with leadership to resolve grievance matters.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in HR generalist role, with focus on supporting Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing functions.

• Strong knowledge of labor laws, collective bargaining agreements, and HR best practices.

• Experience in employee relations, performance management, and talent development.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
