Job Summary

The Accounting and Reporting Intern will be a part of the monthly and quarterly general ledger close process, including both internal and external reporting processes for a publicly traded company.

This is a hybrid role in our corporate location in suburban Philadelphia (Colmar, PA), work from home 3 days a week.

Primary Duties

  • Understand and assist in the closing to reporting processes including the software used in this process (SAP, Blackline, etc.)

  • Prepare, review and analyze account reconciliations

  • Assist in preparation and analysis for monthly financial statement reviews with senior management

  • Assist in preparation and quality reviews over the quarterly filings with the SEC

  • Prepare, update and communicate accounting policies, practices, and procedures

  • Develop relationships with team members in other functional areas including HR, IT, Operations, and Sales

  • Assist in coordinating with internal and external audit teams to satisfy audit requirements

  • Perform additional ad hoc analyses as required

  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet required deadlines

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to partner with and maintain relationships both internally and externally

Education / Experience

  • Enrollment in collegiate program with expected degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar fields
