Job Summary
The Accounting and Reporting Intern will be a part of the monthly and quarterly general ledger close process, including both internal and external reporting processes for a publicly traded company.
This is a hybrid role in our corporate location in suburban Philadelphia (Colmar, PA), work from home 3 days a week.
Primary Duties
Understand and assist in the closing to reporting processes including the software used in this process (SAP, Blackline, etc.)
Prepare, review and analyze account reconciliations
Assist in preparation and analysis for monthly financial statement reviews with senior management
Assist in preparation and quality reviews over the quarterly filings with the SEC
Prepare, update and communicate accounting policies, practices, and procedures
Develop relationships with team members in other functional areas including HR, IT, Operations, and Sales
Assist in coordinating with internal and external audit teams to satisfy audit requirements
Perform additional ad hoc analyses as required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to partner with and maintain relationships both internally and externally
Education / Experience
- Enrollment in collegiate program with expected degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar fields
