Job Summary

The Accounting and Reporting Intern will be a part of the monthly and quarterly general ledger close process, including both internal and external reporting processes for a publicly traded company.

Primary Duties

Understand and assist in the closing to reporting processes including the software used in this process (SAP, Blackline, etc.)

Prepare, review and analyze account reconciliations

Assist in preparation and analysis for monthly financial statement reviews with senior management

Assist in preparation and quality reviews over the quarterly filings with the SEC

Prepare, update and communicate accounting policies, practices, and procedures

Develop relationships with team members in other functional areas including HR, IT, Operations, and Sales

Assist in coordinatingwith internal and external audit teams to satisfy audit requirements

Perform additional ad hoc analyses as required

Qualifications

Enrollment in collegiate program with expected degree in Accounting, Finance,Business Administration, or similar fields

Highly detail oriented and organized

Growth oriented, driven, self-motivator

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet required deadlines

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to partner with and maintain relationships both internally and externally

Education / Experience

Enrollment in collegiate program with expected degree in Accounting, Finance,Business Administration, or similar fields
