DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will coordinate both in-service and out-service training for staff. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that there is adequate space, materials, and facilitators to meet training needs. Duties include overseeing the procurement of necessary training aids and equipment, as well as arranging for their service and repair. You will schedule training sessions for employees based on their positions, training histories, and relevant policies. Additionally, you will handle all administrative tasks related to staff registration and participation in DOC Training Academy courses, including basic training. You will also maintain comprehensive training records and data for all staff and generate various reports to effectively manage and monitor the training program.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Please Note: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $58,035.00 (before taxes). QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Administrative Officer 1; or Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements: Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
