Insight Global Field Support Specialist 1 in College Park, Georgia

Job Description

A premier employer in Atlanta is seeking a Field Support Specialist 1 to help out with general IT support. This person will help the support specialist working remotely handle any physical issues onsite. This includes troubleshooting printers, the network, checking switches, cables, or break fixes for employee computers. Additionally, they will work with Dell, their 3rd party vendor for service calls that could include warranty on computers that have been physically broken. On a day to day basis this person will take tickets through ServiceNow to triage and troubleshoot. This could be anywhere from 5-10 tickets a day.

Skills and Requirements

2+ years experience in a helpdesk type role

Basic understanding of networking i.e. checking switches, cables, checking network connections

Experience troubleshooting computer hardware/ PC laptops

Experience troubleshooting printers

Experience with a ticketing system, ServiceNow preferred

Experience troubleshooting active directory - managing computer objects Bachelors degree

Certifications null
