Robert Half Administrative Assistant in College Park, Georgia

Description We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support our team in College Park, Georgia. This role involves comprehensive administrative and clerical tasks in a dynamic environment. This is a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the City Clerk including drafting correspondence, preparing reports, and managing schedules.

• Organize and facilitate city council and committee meetings, including preparing and distributing the agenda, taking minutes, and maintaining a record of proceedings.

• Manage the receipt, recording, and distribution of official documents, ensuring comprehensive and accurate city records are maintained.

• Assist in the process of issuing licenses, permits, and other civic documents in accordance with city by-laws.

• Respond to public inquiries, providing information and assistance related to the City Clerk’s office and its services.

• Contribute to the administration of municipal elections, including candidate registration, voting day logistics, and maintaining records.

• Support the City Clerk in the enactment of city ordinances and compliance with statutory regulations.

• Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing excellent customer service.

• Perform data entry tasks, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

• Manage email correspondence and schedule appointments using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft PowerPoint

• Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls effectively

• Excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to interact professionally with clients

• Experience in data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to manage email correspondence efficiently

• Capable of scheduling appointments and managing calendars

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure

• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
