Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This individual will be responsible for the preventative and reactive maintenance of production machinery and equipment. This position is focused on the machining side of the facility. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on CNCs, furnaces, boilers, casting machinery, and industrial equipment. The technician will handle both mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks, including working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and up to 480-volt three-phase motors. Experience with PLCs is a plus as the role involves some PLC troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and repair CNCs, furnaces, boilers, casting machinery, and industrial equipment.

  • Work with hydraulics and pneumatics on a consistent basis.

  • Troubleshoot and repair up to 480-volt three-phase motors and wiring.

  • Follow the preventative maintenance program when machinery is caught up.

  • Perform work involving skills of multiple maintenance or craft occupations.

  • Weld, troubleshoot CNC Machines, program and troubleshoot Robotics, and perform PLC programming.

  • Repair electrical or mechanical equipment, and install, align, and level new equipment.

Essential Skills

  • 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience (troubleshooting and repairing production machinery/equipment).

  • 1-2 years of mechanical maintenance experience (maintenance/repair of hydraulics and pneumatics).

  • 1-2 years of electrical maintenance experience (experience with up to 480-volt three-phase motors and wiring).

  • 1-2 years of preventative maintenance experience.

Work Environment

This role supports the machining and casting sides of the factory. The work environment is non-union and multi-craft. The facility can be dirty, dusty, and very hot during the summer due to the nature of the foundry business.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00
