JOB SUMMARY: As the Hand Polisher 1, You will be responsible for drilling, grinding, and applying a polished surface to a wide variety of granite stones using a variety of power tools. WHAT YOU LL BE DOING: Interpreting shop tickets to make sure the stone meets the specifications Applying blunts and rounds on the stone using an 8 lb. angle grinder to shape the edge of the stone Polishing blunts and rounds and flat areas with a 12 lb. buffer Drilling holes in stone as needed with a 30 lb. hammer drill Cleaning and inspecting the stone when finished to ensure it s complete according to the shop ticket WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO: Has good hand-eye coordination Can hold onto polish machines and grinders for most of the shift Has the ability to read a standard and a metric tape measure Can work independently with little supervision Can lift 50 lbs. periodically Has excellent memory and impeccable attention to detail If you are an individual with a disability and require a reasonable accommodation to complete any part of the application process, or are limited in the ability or unable to access or use this online application process and need an alternative method for applying, please call or text Jillian Opdahl at 320-685-4681 or email Jillian at jopdahl@coldspringusa.com for assistance.
