The custodian and after-hours custodian report directly to the Superintendent and work to and clean the buildings and grounds of the Cody Campus, including, but not limited to, the following tasks:

Empty Trash - in classrooms, offices, locker rooms, bathrooms and replace liners as needed.

Classrooms - wipe down tables, chairs and door handles. Vacuum/sweep daily.

Main Bathrooms -toilets, sinks, counters, mirrors, take out trash as needed, mop floor and restock PT/TP

Cottage - vacuum, wipe down table, chairs and door handles. Vacuum daily.

Cottage bathrooms - toilets, sinks, counters, mop floor and restock PT/TP.

Mop Hallway - With appropriate floor disinfectant.

Locker Room - mop floors/showers, clean counters, toilets, mirrors, take out trash and restock PT/TP.

Lunch Area - sweep/mop floors

Water Fountains - clean and disinfect

Exterior Doors/ Lockers - Disinfect handles Daily

.

Use floor scrubber before every game in the gymnasium

Mop Classrooms

Mop Weight room

Clean entryway windows

Clean classroom windows - exterior

Clean classroom windows - interior

Prepare Gym for Activities - set trash cans out, and set up chairs.Post Events in Gym - Empty trash, clean/sweep bleachers, sweep, mop, clean out under bleachers as needed, put away chairs.

Clean the White Elephant Hall. Make sure bathrooms are cleaned and stocked.

Blow out the stadium seating, take out trash, and mop floor of White Elephant Hall

::: {dir="ltr"} On-the-job training will be provided if the employee is in need of any training.

A single work week will be used for computing wages. Payroll is once a month, with the pay date falling on the 20th of every month, but it can be earlier depending on holidays and weekends.

The workweek hours are flexible. Monday to Sunday, 36 hours or more each week is expected. No education is required for this position. The anticipated start date is 03/06/2025 and the planned end date is 12/31/2025.

Location 1 is 360 West 4^th^ Street Cody NE 69211, and Location 2 is 100 N Burlington Kilgore NE 69216. Vehicle and fuel will be provided to travel only from locations 1 and 2, or if any other travel needs to be done as instructed by administration, example - parts and/or supplies run to a store, a vehicle and fuel will be provided. The employee will have to live within 40 miles of 360 West 4th Street, Cody, NE 69211, to perform this job. The employer will assist the employee in finding housing. We are not able to provide housing, but will assist in potentially securing board, lodging, etc.

The employer will pay for all tools, supplies, and equipment needed to perform the duties assigned. If, for any reason, the employee pays for something to be used to do the job, the employer will reimburse the employee for the full amount. :::
