Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Tech 2, Equipment Maintenance to join their team. As a Tech 2, Equipment Maintenance, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Maintenance Manager or Production Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, be safety conscious, and have experience with mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance.

Job Title: Tech 2, Equipment Maintenance

Location: Hunt Valley, Maryland

Pay: $30/hour

What's the Job?

  • Perform routine set up, operation, minor and major routine maintenance, preventative maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting of highly complex/automated manufacturing equipment.

  • Control and adjust machine settings to ensure production, quality, downtime, and waste levels are met.

  • Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance (including preventive) repairs, adjustments, inspection and monitoring of production and/or facilities related equipment and machinery.

  • Prioritize daily work assignments to meet production needs and department goals.

  • Support installation and removal of equipment, and performance of required corrective maintenance.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED & Certificate and 2 years of experience in relevant field

  • Strong mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical skills, with the ability to analyze, fix, and repair complex equipment and machinery.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, diagrams, and equipment specifications.

  • Flexible and adaptable in working with/on a variety of equipment, processes, projects, or assignments.

  • Knowledge of trades mathematics, calibration techniques, and precision measuring instruments.
