Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. Process Control Engineer in Coatesville, Pennsylvania
Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opening for a Process Control Engineer at our Coatesville operation. The Process Control Engineer is responsible for our application and HMI Process Control systems. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment with complex operations. Summary of Responsibilities:
Design, programming, documentation, and support for the existing Level 2 (application and HMI) system
Transition level 2 system from VMS-based platforms to virtual VMS and Windows platforms
Address issues that may impact production or system reliability
Implement system upgrades
Proactively handle quality and reliability issues
Work with vendors on products and performance issues
Identify and manage activities necessary to proper maintain equipment
Communicate with outside departments within the plant and in other Cleveland-Cliffs facilities to ensure a continuous operational flow
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Computing Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering
Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications:
2 to 5 Years of manufacturing Experience as a Level 2 Process Automation Engineer
VMS/Vax/Alpha experience
.Net (VB, asp) Experience
Microsoft DevOps Experience
