Kelly Services Welder (Direct Hire) in Clyde, New York
At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we’re seeking Welders (Direct Hire) to work for an actively growing Aerospace Manufacturer, in Clyde, NY. With us, it’s all about finding the right opportunity for you!
Pay: $21-29/hr. (Depending on shift and experience). Direct Hire!
Available Shifts:
1st 6:30am – 2:30pm
2nd 2:30pm – 10:30pm
3rd 10:30pm – 6:30am

What does a typical day look like for this position? You'll be...
Performing hand (TIG) and orbital welding on aerospace alloys (nickel, cobalt, stainless steel, etc.) for gas turbine fuel nozzles
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Assembling parts prior to welding and understanding fit-up and clearance requirements
Conducting visual weld inspections, including under 10x magnification
Sectioning and polishing hardware to evaluate weld penetration
Using backup gases (argon) and demonstrating a strong understanding of weld terminology
Utilizing measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, feeler gauges, pin gauges, and comparators
Meeting standard work requirements and completing additional tasks as directed by management

Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
Have completed an accredited welding training program (preferred)
Possess 1-3+ years of TIG or MIG welding experience
Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Exhibit excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
