As the Product Workload Finance Lead, you play a crucial role in managing the business, financial and operational performance of our product workloads. You will curate data, surface insights, and develop financial modeling and planning that align with our product vision and market demands. This role will work closely and advise senior engineering and product leaders (VP level) and senior executives by providing a pipeline of data, intelligence, and insights to identify and address business issues and opportunities. You will lead initiatives that will require you to leverage data, people, and systems from both internal and external sources to analyze complex business problems and produce actionable insights and recommendations. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL : Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and refine the financial models and strategies for product workloads, focusing on pricing, margins, and commercialization to drive revenue growth and profitability. Technical Leadership Advisory: Work closely with technical leaders in product management and engineering to identify and address business issues and market opportunities. Bring data, research, and other business insights and help our technical leadership and executives to make informed tradeoffs between technology, finance, and market to produce actionable recommendations. Monetization: Develop strategy and advise product leaders on key monetization (pricing, packaging, metering, commercial terms, etc.) initiatives in alignment to overall product strategy and financial goals and in partnership with various xFN teams (Product, Engineering, Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Billing, Sales) Operational Excellence: Work with Product Leaders to define key business metrics and oversee key workloads Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), ensuring comprehensive preparation and bringing insightful metrics analysis to inform strategic decisions. Cross-functional Leadership: Lead and collaborate on cross-functional initiatives across pricing, packaging, commercial structures, and market campaigns to support growth objectives. Market Intelligence: Enhance market intelligence efforts by supporting existing research and identifying new growth opportunities, building business cases for strategic investments. Performance Management: Set and monitor workload-specific financial goals and performance benchmarks, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. REQUIRED SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering related discipline. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 8 years' experience with 5 years in strategic planning, IB / Mgmt Consulting, or Tier I Product Management roles within strong exposure to Enterprise SaaS, data analytics, or cloud computing environment. Solid understanding of cloud computing services platforms and the technology market landscape, with an ability to relate technical concepts to business opportunities and financial strategies. Proven technical skills with experience in analyzing software, platform, and infrastructure services, understanding their implications on financial models and business strategies. Have the ability to seek and identify opportunities to leverage technical and technology strengths, or define optimal business outcomes within technical constraints Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the capability to interpret complex data and technical details into actionable financial strategies.
