As a leader within a new team of highly talented engineers, you will find yourself researching, planning, and defining the ePowertrain Validation roadmap for all of PACCAR's worldwide vehicle divisions. This position will take a global approach and requires collaboration within a diverse cross-functional and multicultural team. PACCAR is eager to advance its product line of internal combustion and zero emissions powertrains and this is a chance to take a lead role in defining that plan. You will be a key part of ensuring PACCAR products not only meet the needs of customers but also those of the climate. This position is located at PACCAR's Corporate Office, Bellevue, Washington. JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES As a supervisor in North A report to the Global Supervisor of Powertrain Validation. Responsible for the Global ePowertrain Validation team in North America and Europe. This team provides analysis, property definition, function/feature requirements, and integration management at the powertrain system level. Recruiting the North American team members and thereafter coaching and supporting the development engineers individually and as a team (technical as well as soft skills). Set up and monitor the North American team project deliverables, such as reporting in technical meetings and creating documentation per process deliverables. Advising the Scope Steering Committee during the decision-making process for project scoping Responsible for team assignments, scheduling, budgeting, and capacity planning Improve, update, and deploy processes and tools together with team members Travel to supplier locations with either engineering or supplier quality staff is required. Up to 30% of travel (domestic and international) Until the team has reached full size, technical and/or project work is also expected. QUALIFICATIONS& SKILLS Bachelor's Degree in engineering (i.e., Automotive or Mechanical Engineering) or related technical field and 7 + years of relevant work experience, primarily within the automotive sector or Master's Degree in engineering or related technical field and 4+ years of relevant work experience.
