AS A DATA SCIENTIST AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL: Collaborate with a team of high-performing analytics and data science professionals to identify business opportunities, and develop algorithms and methodologies to address them Drive technical advances in Snowflake's GTM machine learning models Develop novel approaches to explain machine learning predictions to stakeholders in Sales and Marketing Process large amounts of data focused on solving business problems with Snowflake that can be shared with our customers and partners Design research projects that apply valid scientific techniques, and use information obtained from baselines or historical data to structure uncompromised and efficient analyses Examine theories, such as those of probability and inference, to discover mathematical bases for new or improved methods of obtaining and evaluating numerical data Develop software applications or programming for statistical modeling and graphic analysis Present statistical and nonstatistical results in meetings or conferences to internal stakeholders and Snowflake's customers Prepare and structure data in Snowflake for statistical analysis Develop and test experimental designs, sampling techniques, and analytical methods Act as "customer zero" for Snowflake so we can continue to evolve an even more powerful, intuitive Snowflake product and demonstrations of our internal Snowflake on Snowflake utilization. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: BS/MS in quantitative discipline (Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Engineering, or CS) 3+ years of experience with Python, including scikit-learn, numpy, and pandas 3+ years experience working with SQL and relational data in data warehouses Experience with Airflow & dbt Familiarity with Data Science algorithms and MLOps to build and deploy end-to-end AL/ML products in production Willing to learn and use Snowflake product features, including Snowpark, Streamlit Excellent communication skills to summarize insights and recommendations to audiences of varying levels of technical sophistication The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
