Requisition Summary PACCAR is searching for talented individuals to join our wonderful family of Purchasing and Logistics professionals who support Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF, and TRP Product Lines for Summer 2024! Positions in Purchasing include Logistics Planning, International Classification, Sourcing Commodities, and much more. Available locations are Bellevue, WA; Renton, WA; and Lewisville, TX The internship includes unique learning opportunities: Learn first-hand from the industry's top professionals. Work directly with Managers and Directors. Develop mentoring relationships with experienced professionals. Gain valuable hands-on experience. The internship is scheduled to begin in May or June 2024. Job Functions / Responsibilities Assist in creating operational and management reports. Provide additional capacity to various departments to alleviate backlogs. Create analysis that supports company decisions. Participate in additional projects designed to make the company operations more effective and efficient. Support Purchasing projects involving cost savings opportunities. Skills / Competencies The skills that are important to be successful in this position are as follows: Proficient in Microsoft Office. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask. A resourceful self-starter. Analytical thinking. The salary range for internship positions is $25 an hour for undergraduate students and $30 an hour for graduate students.
