Job Description The primary purpose for this job is to provide an entry / intermediate level position into the commercial job family of the business initiatives group. This role would provide assistance to and support for, as opposed to lead, commercial oriented functions performed by the group. Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety. Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations Job Responsibilities Support strategy development and implementation plans for presentation to senior management on value added projects and programs. Supports implementation of project plans across multi-disciplinary project teams. This includes creating and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and action items. Conducts or manages business, operational, financial, and policy level analyses needed to evaluate potential projects and programs while considering PSE's current position and how best to maximize the value of current assets through new programs and initiatives. Work includes analysis to quantify the impact of prospective State or Federal policy changes. Supports Sr Commercial Development Manager with external representative(s) on assigned projects and programs, including identifying, negotiating, and managing partner relationships and commercial contracts. Collaborates with long-term resource and planning groups inside PSE to review asset acquisitions. Analytic techniques include NPV, DCF, Monte Carlo simulations, goal seek, and charting. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, economics, business administration, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience 3 years relevant work experience Experience in the utility, oil, gas or independent power sector and experience in project development or commercial acquisitions Desired Qualifications Work experience in asset development and acquisitions Knowledge of financial and accounting principles Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills Additional Information At PSE we value and respect our employees and provide them opportunities to excel. We offer a competitive compensation and rewards package. The pay range for this position is$76,500.00-$127,200.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
