Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Utilize power tools effectively for repairs and installations.
  • Execute welding tasks as required for vehicle repairs.
  • Align vehicles to manufacturer specifications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair needs and recommendations clearly to clients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including powertrain components.
  • Proficiency in auto estimating and understanding repair costs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform diagnostics effectively.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
  • Experience with vehicle maintenance practices and procedures.
  • Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
  • Certification from an accredited automotive program is a plus but not required.
