About the Role
Eagle Bend Manufacturing, a leading Tier 1 Automobile Manufacturer, we are seeking an experience Purchasing Supplier Development to establish and maintain supplier development standards for all suppliers. Quote service pricing for past-life service to customers and obtain their approval with updated Purchase Orders
Your Responsibilities
Interface with Eagle Bend Suppliers and Purchasing department
Perform 2nd party audits on new Suppliers as required to qualify as approved supplier
Perform 2nd party audits for supplier development to evaluate compliance to standard
Issue Corrective Action Requests (CAR’s) for non-conformances to standards
Apply and comply with AIAG (Automotive Industry Action Group), EBM standards and procedures, as well as customer-specific requirements
Perform audits of supplier corrective actions implemented for effectiveness
Serve as an internal auditor for Materials Department
Prepare & maintain quotes for all service jobs as required
Who we are looking for
Ability to mathematically compute costs and profit
Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
Problem solving skills
Basic CMS system skills
Ability to access data stored on LAN (local area network)
Ability to performed in organized and timely manner
Your preferred qualifications
Understanding of manufacturing, fabricating and packaging processes
VDA Auditor Card required
Prior Materials or Logistics experience (3-5 years) preferred
