The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District has an opening for an Elementary Special Education Teacher. The successful candidate will need to:

• Demonstrate strong skills and knowledge in ELA, literacy, and mathematics;

• Demonstrate an understanding of co-teaching and special class methodology, differentiated, and blended learning;

Job Qualifications

• NYS Special Education Certification – Birth-2 and 1-6, 1-6 with PK-K Extension, or K-12

• Completion of a NYS Registered Program – Students with Disabilities Birth-2 and 1-6, 1-6 with PK-K Extension, or K-12

• Institutional Recommendation – Students with Disabilities Birth-2 and 1-6

• New York State Teacher Certification Exam – Educating All Students Test (EAS)

• Content Specialty Test (CST) – Multi-Subject: Teachers of Childhood (Birth-2, 1-6)

• edTPA – Special Education

• Workshop – Dignity For All Students Act

• Workshop – Autism

• Fingerprint Clearance
