Randstad is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team! In this key role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of products and materials in and out of the warehouse, ensuring accurate shipments and timely deliveries. Experience with SAP is a plus but not required. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you'll play a crucial part in supporting our supply chain, working closely with team members, vendors, and customers to ensure the highest standards of efficiency and accuracy. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving Shipments:

• Unload incoming shipments and check them against purchase orders and shipping documents for accuracy.

• Inspect products for damages or defects and report discrepancies to the supervisor.

• Record received items in the inventory management system.

Shipping:

• Prepare and pack outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.

• Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange deliveries and track shipments.

• Verify that the correct items are shipped out and ensure that they are properly packaged to prevent damage during transit.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, both incoming and outgoing.

• Assist with stock counts and organize warehouse or storage areas for efficient retrieval and storage of items.

• Monitor inventory for low stock and notify the purchasing department for restocking as needed.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain shipping and receiving logs and documentation for all inbound and outbound shipments.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements for shipping and receiving.

Customer Service & Communication:

• Communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal teams to resolve shipping issues and ensure timely delivery.

• Assist with tracking shipments and handling customer inquiries regarding the status of orders.

The essential functions of this role include:
