Location: For Those Who Work At Home - Various, Ohio 44144 ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF) Provides support for designated Asset Recovery Group Relationship Manager(s) and Support Staff. Works within a National Team committed to overall excellence in effectively assessing and mitigating risk in all aspects of the client relationship, including loan and deposit accounts. Work will focus on large, complex multi-million dollar problem relationships to minimize losses of the company's capital. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Manage a loan portfolio including larger business banking loans and middle market loans to mitigate risk, consisting of deals with aggregate balances equal to or greater than 5mm, with moderate complexity and limited potential for adversarial litigation. Prepares thorough underwriting, credit presentations, quarterly Asset Quality Reports, and term sheets of restructures, identifying key weaknesses, appropriate risk rating and accrual status (using applicable risk rating tools), root cause analysis, mitigation plans and rationale, financial analysis, detailed collateral analysis (including enterprise valuations as necessary), applicable modeling and forecasting, key objectives and other underwriting issues. Review and analyze loan documentation, financial statements and other similar loan and borrower information to assess risk, quantify repayment capacity, consider the adequacy of repayment sources and/or estimate recovery potential. Develop, recommend and implement workout/liquidation strategies for problem loans including past due, underperforming, non-performing, and charged-off loans to mitigate risk and maximize recovery. Acts as backup when needed for ARG Relationship Managers Adhere to department and corporate guidelines, policies and compliance procedures. Displays proficiency in reviewing documentation to ensure accurate representation of business terms and conformity to credit approval and policies. Ensures accuracy of booking, funding and timely processing of loan packages. Participate in client meetings and discussions and can act as a client facing contact for Borrowers. Works with legal counsel and third-party consultants as necessary throughout the workout process. Strong partnership with line of business, credit, and support partners throughout the organization. Support departmental continuous improvement efforts. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree (Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred), or equivalent experience 3+ years commercial credit experience (e.g.,workout, underwriting, portfolio monitoring, commercial banker) General understanding and ability to apply accounting, banking laws, required rules and regulations, credit policy, and risk-rating requirements. Financial statement spreading and analysis experience Ability to multi-task and manage many responsibilities Ability to support and justify recommendations/approvals Competent in various computer software programs, especially Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Strong oral & written communication skills COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $60,000 to $80,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
