Ohio Means Jobs Cleveland - Cuyahoga County is sourcing Tool and Die Machinists for a local tool and die company. * *Position Summary:   Provide machining support to new tool and die repair functions. Position Responsibilities:

• Set-up and operate basic tool machinery such as drill press, milling machine, and grinders
• Perform die sharpening/polishing and create shims as needed
• Machine die blocks per sketch drawings
• Provide assistance/support to Die Makers
• Comply with the company's PPE guidelines including utilizing gloves, safety gloves and hearing protection as needed

Required qualifications:

• Ability to read and write English
• Ability to read micrometer and height gages
• Ability to work in a fast, team-based environment
