ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF): Effective third party management (TPM) enables Key to achieve its strategic goals and objectives, while ensuring third party products and services are provided in a safe and sound manner and in compliance with applicable laws. The TPM team outlines and administers the bank's third party Policy and Program to oversee and manage Key's third party relationships, the products/services provided, and the associated risks. As an enterprise shared services team, TPM collaborates horizontally across the bank on noble and meaningful work that impacts the bottom-line and directly protects the interests of our customers, employees, and shareholders. The TPM Risk Advisor is an individual contributor role reporting to the TPM Director in the Business Risk and Controls division.This position helps to develop and implement risk management strategies that ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Areas of focus for this position include documentation and reporting functions for all phases of the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) lifecycle (planning, due diligence and vendor selection, negotiation, ongoing monitoring, and termination) and other program governance and management oversight activities (documentation and reporting, analytics, audits, and exams).Responsibilities include ownership, continuous improvement, execution, and ensuring compliance with one or more facets of the TPM Program and custodian responsibilities for the associated procedures and process maps. This role establishes management routines to grow critical relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization; performs Policy, Program and third-party assessments, and ensures adherence to established procedures and program requirements through assurance activities. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS o Execute strategic priorities and projects as assigned to identify, prepare for, and lessen the effects of emerging risks and threats faced by the business; recognize problems and document plans to correct and prevent them from occurring in the future. o Prepare periodic and ad-hoc TPM presentations and data visualizations. o Periodically evaluate and lead updates to TPRM procedures and processes to promote compliance, efficiency, and operational excellence throughout the TPRM lifecycle. o Engage with first line of defense partners as appropriate, for input to enhance Program governance and oversight effectiveness. o Engage with second and third line of defense partners and external regulators as appropriate to support review and challenge activities and audits and examinations. o Provide TPRM subject matter expertise to Line of Business (LOB) and Functional Unit senior leaders, as required. o Lead and support internal and external Program related finding documentation and remediation activities, including updates to business risks and controls. o Analyze laws, rules and regulations to determine Program applicability. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS o Bachelor's Degree, applicable TPRM certifications, or two years relevant experience. o Advanced experience with data visualization and analysis tools (Tableau and MS Excel) SOFT SKILLS: o Analytical Thinking - Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
