Actalent Reliability Engineer in Cleveland, Ohio

Job Description

  • Review operating losses and inefficiencies.

  • Follow up on breakdowns to identify root causes and determine preventive action with emphasis on SAP-managed preventive maintenance.

  • Consider new technologies or services to improve mechanical reliability.

  • Analyze plant reliability using KPIs to monitor progress and guide improvement.

  • Assess long-term asset reliability needs.

  • Serve as subject-matter-expert for preventive and predictive maintenance technologies.

  • Collaborate with site maintenance teams to improve maintenance function efficacy.

  • Collaborate with site operating teams to advance Basic Care (TPM) model.

  • Must be open to travel- up to 20% of the time.

Must Haves

Bachelor's in Engineering, preferably Chemical or Electromechanical

3-5 years of Reliability Engineering experience

CAPEX experience

Experience working with pumps, rotating equipment and/or mixers

Project management

Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), electrical drawings, process control narratives or equipment specifications

Nice to Haves

Experience in a Chemical or Automotive Manufacturing environment

Experience with SAP CMMS

Plant operating experience with maintenance and reliability responsibility.

Lean Six Sigma process improvement competency
