As part of the Global Data Center Operations Team, this team member will focus on providing global IT enterprise capabilities across Parker’s four Data Centers. The ideal candidate has a passion for system administration best practices, modern security best practices, and information technology solutions. The candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills

ü Leads, Designs, Implements and Supports large complex global enterprise projects on IBM pSeries platform until completion.

ü Leads, trains, and supports other platform team members on all supported Midrange technologies.

ü Provides Enterprise Architectural design recommendations.

ü Demonstrated ability to make enterprise recommendations that simplify and reduce Enterprise System costs across Midrange applications.

ü Demonstrated ability to forecast growth across all platforms and make recommendations for hardware scaling.

ü Demonstrated ability to make Enterprise System security, stability and resiliency improvement recommendations for large complex Enterprise Systems

ü Provides level 3 /4 support for critical system challenges until resolution for AIX, Linux, and Enterprise Storage related issues.

ü Executes strategic enterprise system IT roadmaps.

ü Identifies opportunities to improve Enterprise System availability and resiliency, recommends solutions to improve system efficiencies.

ü Effectively communicates with other global leaders.

ü Change Management, Compliance and Asset Management Lifecycle process experience

ü Proven System Administration skills on IBM Power Systems

ü Proven track record of leading large complex global projects of varying length and complexity

ü Provides 24x7 system support.

Qualifications

This role is subject to Export Control Restrictions (ITAR) and all applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee.

o 4-year IT degree in computer science (or related area) required

• 8+ years of experience within Information Technology industry required

o Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced global environment while managing multiple priorities.

o Proven IBM AIX and RedHat Linux System Administration skills

o Ability to manage Linux in an X86 environment.

o Proven RedHat Ansible experience

o Working knowledge of various Linux OS

o Proven communication skills, verbal and written.

o Ability to self-direct and work independently

o IBM pSeries hardware knowledge

o Data Protection expertise

o Enterprise Storage expertise
