The Sherwin-Williams Company Procurement Process Manager in Cleveland, Ohio
Seeking a Procurement Process Manager to be part of the Procurement Strategy & Enablement team. The team supports the global Procurement Operations in the 4 core areas of procurement process, systems, market intelligence and compliance/governance. This role will lead Procurement's efforts to define, document and enforce the standard process, policy, and procedures of the strategic procurement function. The successful candidate will: Manage transactional processes, including price management, consignment inventory, supply chain financing, vendor master data management and RFx processes. Create & maintain tools to track and measure performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Conduct regular analysis and reporting on performance against SLAs & KPIs, expected benefits and other defined performance metrics. Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement. Develop, implement, and maintain procurement policies, procedures, templates and standards with regular monitoring and analysis on risk and compliance. Monitor and review procurement activities to ensure adherence to established governance frameworks and best practices. Provide training and support to procurement teams and stakeholders on policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with both internal and external auditors to address compliance concerns and resolve any procurement-related gaps. Analyze procurement data and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for enhancing operational efficiencies. Oversee and indirectly manage regional transactional activities with the goal of developing a global procurement standard process. Work towards harmonizing and standardizing procurement processes globally, striving for efficiency and simplification. Challenge the status quo positively and influence change. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, finance, legal, operations to understand business needs and objectives. FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in applicable field KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: 6 years of relevant post college work experience Preferred: 8 years of relevant, post college work experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain, or related experience is desirable. Experience creating and monitoring compliance with procurement procedures, preferred. Must be a self-starter with an ability to work with minimal direction/supervision in a fast-paced environment. Track record of increasing responsibility with strong performance. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, and Power Point. Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills. Project management experience. Process improvement experience. TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Required: Experience working with ERP systems. Excellent communication skills. PC Skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access).
