JOB PURPOSE Responsible to perform data analytics for assigned health and welfare client accounts and complete special project deliverables in the Group Benefits Business Unit; conducts analyses on a plan's current financial impact and prepares a projection of future plan outcomes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ? Manages large projects from inception and design through post-implementation assessment, working closely with internal departments and clients. ? Attends client meetings as requested and presents to key business leaders to explain analytical findings; demonstrates strong client-facing skills and engenders trust and confidence. ? Evaluates regulatory changes and identifies impacts to existing tools, reports and databases; makes recommendations for changes and ensures implementation of proper upgrades. ? Establishes strong peer review strategies and coaches others on the best practice. ? Collaborates with the Sales / Business Development Team and various Practice Leaders to formulate strategy in the development of new analytical tools for market introduction. ? Creates new data analytic tools and reports to support client needs by understanding the landscape of the health care industry. ? Accesses the data of existing clients to conduct a financial analysis of relevant information to aid in the evaluation of plan performance, both current and projected experience. ? Accesses the data of prospective clients to conduct a financial and demographic, current-state analysis to promote client awareness with the objective of securing new business. ? Maintains the security of client information obtained from group medical, dental and ancillary lines of coverage in compliance with HIPAA requirements. ?
