* Contract position for 12+ months; contract can be extended; contract to hire is possible.

* The job is on-site with a HYBRID work schedule. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate within commuting distance of Pittsburgh PA or Cleveland OH

IT Infrastructure Support Engineer :

• Support infrastructure solutions ( servers, OS ) for enterprise applications

• Deploy and administer Windows and Linux server environments using VMWare virtualization solutions

• Manage infrastructure compute capacity planning and resource allocation, evaluate and optimize server configurations for performance and efficiency

• Develop automated infrastructure deployment scripts ( YAML and tools like Ansible / Terraform / CloudFormation / ARM (Azure Resource Manager) / Kubernetes / OpenShift )

• Configure and maintain non-relational database platforms

  Required Qualifications (Skills, Experience, Education, Certifications) :

• Experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering

• Windows and Linux server administration

• VMWare virtualization technologies, VMWare certification desired

• Infrastructure tasks automation using YAML scripting

• Any experience with non-SQL databases will be a plus : MongoDB / CouchDB / DynamoDB / Apache Cassandra / HBase / etc

• Familiarity with enterprise tools preferred: Jira for project tracking, SharePoint for documentation, Confluence for collaboration, ServiceNow for service management
