The Sherwin-Williams Company Director Digital Commerce in Cleveland, Ohio

The Director of Digital Commerce in Architectural Marketing at Sherwin-Williams will be responsible Consumer Brands Group's (CBG) digital commerce strategy and will execute plans that drive sales of products from iconic brands like Valspar, Minwax, Krylon and HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams via the online channels of key retail partners such as Lowe's, Menards, Walmart, Amazon and Ace Hardware. This includes the building, expanding, and optimizing of product categories, consumer experiences and operational processes to drive conversion, increased basket size and customer satisfaction across DIY and Pro segments. Reporting to the VP of Digital & Ecommerce, the right candidate for this role will be omni-channel experienced and a champion for the online channel to drive incremental sales. You will partner with various internal and external marketing and retail sales teams, manage a budget, and lead a growing department of 8 people across offices in Cleveland, OH, Davidson, NC and remote. A flexible hybrid working environment should be expected - in the office 3 days per week, remote otherwise. * Set, champion, and execute the strategic vision for online sales on retailers.com across the group. * Lead the team that brings CBG products and brands to life across the consumer journey by owning and supporting go-to-market strategies for retailer digital properties. * Partner with key retailer teams to maximize capabilities and inform future roadmaps. * Establish strong cross-functional business relationships across Sales, Brand, Product Marketing, Digital and Retail Partner teams to enable, analyze and improve omni-channel experiences and grow sales. * Set strategies and create business plans for omni-channel opportunities through digital extension of in store experiences, online-only product assortment and fulfillment operations. * Establish division-wide digital commerce KPIs, track performance metrics, analyze data, monitor research, and translate to actionable insights that inform and influence business strategies and decisions. * Lead a team of managers and specialists responsible for digital commerce for the division. * Partner with digital commerce managers, finance, supply chain, IT, Sales, Channel, Brand to ensure common processes, methods, sources of data and content are leveraged to drive efficiency and resolve impediments. Required: * Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing or technology * 5+ years' experience in ecommerce * 3+ years in management * Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Effectively manage and develop relationships at all levels internally and externally. * Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business strategies to achieve long-term growth objectives and must possess strong time management skills and have the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. * Must be willing to travel as required for the position.
