Location: For Those Who Work At Home - Various, Virginia 23455 ABOUT THE JOB The Data Risk Governance Office (DRGO) is the firm-wide second line of defense oversight function for data risk management. As a Data Risk Analyst specializing in data risk analytics within our second line of defense, you will play a critical role in enabling and enhancing DRGO's data risk metrics and key risk indicators (KRIs). This role demands a deep technical expertise and a proactive approach to data governance and risk analytics, ensuring Key's data risk management practices aligns with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. The position is responsible for ensuring Data Risk Governance Office (DRGO) program management is consistent with KeyCorp's Data Risk and Enterprise Risk Management Policies. This role will play an integral role in enabling a holistic view of Data Risk across the enterprise. Utilize technology to create business intelligence data visualizations for data risk management analysis and reporting. Analyze data to identify trends/insights for reporting and create data and process enhancements/efficiencies. Develop and maintain stakeholder reporting (Risk Management Committee of the Board, Enterprise Risk Management Committee, KBNA Board, Operational Risk Committee, Data and Analytics Risk Committee, and Risk Management Leadership) that integrates a holistic picture of Data Risks. Provide advice and assistance to the enterprise in the development of reporting. Improve methodologies and coordination to deliver effective data risk management to the organization. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Support the development and management of data risk metrics including risk tolerances and KRIs, providing actional insights to the risk management team and relevant stakeholders including Senior Management, Governance Committees, and the Board of Directors. Support the design, build, and maintenance of dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau and Power BI, ensuring high standards of data visualization and accessibility. Leverage automation and workflows to enhance data accuracy and process efficiency. Complete risk data analysis with strong attention to detail from Key's Governance, Risk, and Compliance "GRC" application to ensure alignment with the Data Risk Management Framework. Build robust, systematic, and efficient workflows, processes, and procedures around the production of data analytics for Data Risk. Develop and implement solutions to complex business problems using data analytics, statistical methods, and predictive models. Attest to the quality, timeliness and completeness of the underlying data used to produce these risk analytics. Monitor and report on adherence to the Data Risk Management Framework. Work closely with data governance teams to utilize tools such as Alation and BigID for data discovery, data governance, data classification, and risk assessments processes. Have knowledge of data and process mining and the ability to apply this knowledge to large volumes of data to reach meaningful conclusions. Work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction; take action when answers to a problem are not readily apparent. Manage recurring deliverables in accordance with agreed upon specifications and set deadlines. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in information technology, mathematics, statistics, finance, or commensurate experience is required. 3-5 years of analytics and reporting experience and/or prior work history in a risk or information technology discipline. Proven track record of effectively conveying complex data into meaningful information to support decision-making. Advanced understanding of data analytics tools and techniques, as well as the ability to communicate findings in a clear and concise manner.
