Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Benefits Specialist in Cleveland, Ohio. This role involves a range of duties in the Human Resources industry, focusing on benefits management and administration. The workplace offers a hybrid model, enabling flexibility and convenience. This role is a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handling inquiries related to employee benefits

• Assisting new hires with their benefits-related questions and concerns

• Conducting regular audits in the benefits system to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Managing and operating the benefits hotline to provide timely assistance to employees

• Participating in open enrollment processes and activities

• Utilizing Human Resources Management Systems and other HR software for efficient operations

• Handling sensitive information with discretion and ensuring data privacy at all times

• Collaborating with other HR team members to ensure a smooth benefits administration process

• Staying updated with the latest HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems trends and best practices

• Identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies in the benefits system promptly. Requirements • Proficiency in HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems

• Demonstrated experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Familiarity with Human Resources Management System

• Competence in using various human resources software

• Strong understanding of employee benefits, including health and retirement plans

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks

• Ability to interpret and explain benefits and related policies to employees

• Problem-solving skills to address employee benefits-related issues

• Attention to detail for benefits administration and record-keeping

• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to employee benefits

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience
