Insight Global Molding Process Specialist in Cleveland, Mississippi

Job Description

A large medical device manufacturer in the Cleveland, MS area is looking for a Molding Specialist to join their team. The primary area of responsibility will be in injection molding.

Responsibilities include:

* Work with Round Lake, CL project engineering, and Quality engineering to develop new medical device molds in the CL plant. This will include developing and conducting training, writing JIB's, writing SOP's and writing preventive maintenance procedures.

* Start up and debugging of new injection mold processes.

* Work with the Mold Shop to solve tooling problems.

* Interface with plant and corporate groups as well as contractors and vendors.

* Work with manufacturing departments on a daily basis to ensure efficient transition between the process development phase, validation, training, and start-up of good production.

* Develop tools (jigs) for standard equipment checks.

* Analyze mold machine/cell failures for root cause and implement corrective actions.

* Assist in molding equipment inspections.

* Recommend improvements in the injection molding area.

* New Equipment installations -- work with engineers, vendors, and equipment suppliers.

Skills and Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED

* 5+ years of experience in molding related processes

* Processing experience * Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

* RJG Systematic Molding, and Mold Master 1 certification

* GMP manufacturing experience null
