EquipmentShare is Hiring a Diesel Fleet Technician (Mechanic)

EquipmentShare is immediately hiring a Diesel Fleet Technician (Mechanic) for our Landmark Equipment Dealership in Cleburne, TX to be responsible for providing maintenance and repair on company owned trucks and trailers.

Schedule: This position requires working hours Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Overtime pay is offered after working 40 hours.

    Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs on malfunctions or breakdowns on trucks and trailers.

  • Preventative Maintenance.

  • Inspect, repair, maintain, and test trucks and trailers at maintenance intervals.

  • Maintain trucks and trailers to new state or DOT standards.

  • Maintain and repair brakes, braking systems, and all related chassis components.

  • Complete annual inspections.

  • Travel to different areas.

    Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Valid drivers license required

  • At least 2 years of diesel mechanic experience required

  • Welding experience required

  • Air Brake Certification required

  • DOT Inspector Certification preferred

  • Must have proper tools

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred

  • Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to move, stand, stoop and been freely

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times

  • This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen
