Description
We are offering a contract/project opportunity for a Full Stack Magento E-Commerce Developer in Clearwater, Florida. This assignment will last up to 6 months with possible extension. This role is within the E-commerce industry and will involve the development and management of Shopify accounts, enhancing UI/UX design, and back end database development.
THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE FULLY ONSITE IN CLEARWATER. Our client is not accepting remote applicants.
Responsibilities:
• Create and manage Shopify accounts, including account setup and optimization
• Develop custom Shopify themes and templates based on project requirements
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and product developers, to ensure timely project delivery
• Manage backend databases tied to Shopify (Heroku) to improve uptime and disaster recovery
• Translate design mock-ups and specifications into functional Shopify websites and applications
• Test, develop, and customize third-party Shopify apps to extend store functionalities
• Update and modify existing Shopify stores to enhance UI/UX design and add new features
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify development and implementation
• Assist with the selection, implementation, and transition to a PIM solution integrated with Shopify
• Ensure UX, performance, SEO, security, and accessibility best practices are implemented and upheld.
Requirements • Proficient in Backend Development
• Experience with Content Management System (CMS)
• Understanding of API Development
• Familiarity with Shopify platform
• Experience working with Heroku
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL database management
• Strong knowledge of HTML
• Proficient in CSS
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong team player and able to collaborate effectively with others
• Knowledge of best practices in web development and e-commerce platforms
• Continually stay updated with the latest technologies and apply them as needed
